Our Medway Hub is at St Augustine’s Church in Gillingham, and is open Monday mornings in term-time between 10am and 12pm. Mums are given a warm, Princess Project welcome, and a chance to sit down and chat over a cup of tea, and to meet other mums as well as our friendly team of staff and volunteers. There are baby changing facilities, space to feed your baby, and lots of toys and activities to amuse older children. What’s unique about the Hub, however, is that it is a mums’ group, not a baby/toddler group, and you can visit with or without your children.
Our team are there to listen, and not judge, and to be a source of friendly support to mums who visit us. We also have lots of information about various services and places you can go to access specialist support should you need it.
St Augustine’s is quite visible on the A2 at the junction of Chatham Hill and Rock Avenue- it’s the giant stone church! There is a small car park, which you can use when visiting the Hub- you will need to display a permit during your visit, which we can give you when you arrive. The car park is accessible from Rock Avenue.
The following buses also stop nearby: Arriva 116, 120, 132.
